Comments: This set is a virtuel part of my radio museum. I electronically restored this set for a friend, checked all caps and tubes, changed 12 tar sealed paper capacitors, 2 electrolyric caps, the smoothing cap, 2 tubes, 3 dial lamps, repaired the dial rigging, cleaned all parts thoroughly and now works perfect. Changing parts was very difficult beacuse of the high density of electronic parts. The output transformer had to be dismantled for accessing the capacitors underneath. This compact set is pretty heavy and has almost the same amount of parts like larger sets. This elecronics restauration is pretty much typical for these sets of the 50ties when not in use for a while.
